Do first impressions really matter? In most cases, yeah, they do. But after spending more time here, I’d say that Bizzo Casino is one of those rare exceptions where the first impression doesn’t tell the full story.

When I first opened the site, I’ll be honest, I wasn’t impressed. The design feels outdated, almost like something from the mid-2000s, and it gives off the impression that you’ve landed on an old and forgotten casino.

After spending some time here, though, I realised I was wrong. Bizzo actually launched in 2021, so it’s not old at all, and under that dated look, there’s a platform that’s doing quite a few things right.

You’ve got a welcome bonus of up to A$7,250 and 175 free spins, a massive game library with 8,000+ titles, and some features you don’t usually see, like a no deposit bonus just for enabling notifications.

It does make you wonder if they’re underselling themselves a bit, but I’ll get into all of that in this Bizzo casino review.

Should You Play at Bizzo Casino? Australian Gamblers Explain

I can recommend Bizzo to almost any type of player, and I actually mean that. It covers a lot of ground, and there’s even a no deposit bonus for enabling notifications, so you can technically try it for free. The minimum deposit is just A$20 if you decide to continue.

When you add in all the parts of the welcome bonus, the total amount you can claim is an impressive A$7,250, 175 free spins, and 1 bonus game, but there’s a catch. You see, you can only get the maximum 125% deposit match on the first deposit if you deposit A$250 or more. The match percentage for lower deposits is lower:

You probably noticed that some of the sums are overlapping, but don’t worry – I contacted customer support and verified that you always get the higher bonus percentage and more free spins. Still, I’m not a big fan of the tiered deposit match percentage, especially when some casinos offer much better high roller bonuses for depositors who deposit A$250 or more.

Also, the bonus info is a bit misleading, because it says that you get a deposit match starting at A$20, when the T&Cs clearly state that the minimum qualifying deposit for the bonus is A$30.

The instant bonus round is awarded on Pragmatic Play’s Big Bass Bonanza 1000 and is available immediately after activation (and before you get the free spins). Depending on how many free spins you get, they come in batches of 25 spins daily.

The wagering requirements for all parts of the welcome bonus are 40x, which is bang-on average. If you plan on depositing with crypto, you might want to take a look at the crypto welcome bonus. The offer is a 200% deposit match of up to A$800, and there’s none of the ‘tiered deposit match’ shenanigans here. You need to deposit A$30 or more, and you get a 200% match.

The wagering requirements are 40x, and the only limitation here is that the max bet is limited to A$6.5 instead of A$8.

Note from Australian Gamblers: Despite the lower allowed max bet, I definitely recommend claiming the crypto welcome bonus here. The 200% deposit match is simply the better offer here, and you can still claim the other parts of the welcome bonus (the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th deposit matches).

There’s no other way to put it: when casinos offer a no deposit bonus, we claim it. All you need to do to get the 10 free spins is just download the PWA app on your mobile phone (Android and iOS devices are supported), and the FS will be credited to your account for free.

To add to that, some games have an RTP number written on the icon, but I can assure you that the RTP listed on the game icon is WRONG and doesn’t correspond to the game’s real RTP. Other than that, it’s a really solid game library.

So, it’s safe to say that it’s one pretty stacked library, and there are even subsections for Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, Poker, and Game Shows. No complaints on my side here.
