Goodman Casino Review
Goodman Casino sounds like a family-owned roadhouse, but I guess everything sounds like something when you’ve seen too many movies, and the name is the least of my concerns.
There are over 5,600 games, which is good enough, weekly lotteries that you get on every deposit, and solid payment options and limits, but don’t get your hopes up because that’s almost as far as the good stuff goes, and looking at it as a whole, Goodman Casino gives average vibes.
Even the few qualities are not enough to tip the scales in its favour once you learn about those third-rate bonus terms or lack of live chat support. Presentation-wise, it looks decent, but then I started playing, and it was more or less the same disappointments you see with average operators.
Don’t get me wrong, the casino is completely legit and with 5 years in the business, it has a solid trust index, but that doesn’t exactly make it top-tier.
Pros
Cons
Should You Play at Goodman Casino? Australian Gamblers Explain
Goodman Casino is fully licensed, which immediately put my main worry to rest. Once I knew it was legit, I could focus on the overall experience, and truthfully, I have mixed opinions.
The first and probably only good reason I would recommend it to anyone is the games, all 5,600+ of them. And with providers like Playson, IGTech, and Betsoft responsible for supply, game quality is not an issue.
The pokies number around 4,500, and the casino tournaments and promotions are mainly tailored for pokie gambling. Even the weekly lottery draws are a nice little addition to the pokies experience, awarding thousands of free spins every week.
With around 50 games, the live casino is not nearly as competitive as the best online live casinos in Australia. Still, as far as the usual options go, there’s just enough variety for roulette, baccarat, and blackjack.
The cashier is mostly about crypto and offers fewer than a handful of options for managing regular currency. And if you were thinking about getting a bonus on your crypto deposit, I have bad news for you.
Goodman Casino Bonuses
With A$6,000 and 400 free spins in the welcome package, Goodman Casino, I had the feeling we were off to a good start with the bonuses, but that’s all it was, a good start. I won’t hide that I was disappointed when I learned about some of the terms and conditions, which also apply to most other bonuses.
Speaking of other promotions, Goodman Casino offers several weekly deals, including a tailored pokies bonus on Mondays with up to 100 free spins, a mid-week combo awarding cash bonus and free spins, and a couple of weekend reloads to round off the week.
If I consider the loyalty promotions and exclusive VIP rewards as bonuses, which they are, then Goodman Casino definitely offers plenty of options to claim or earn a bonus, at least for casual bonus hunters. Big spenders might not be as keen on the bonuses, and with good reason: all promotions, apart from the welcome bonus, are quite modest at best.
| Sign Up Bonus | Bonus Offer | Wagering Req. | Bonus Code |
|---|---|---|---|
| Deposit 1 | 120% up to A$900 + 125 free spins | 40x | G10 |
| Deposit 2 | 100% up to A$900 + 75 free spins | 40x | G11 |
| Deposit 3 | 80% up to A$1,700 + 50 free spins | 40x | G12 |
| Deposit 4 | 150% up to A$2,500 + 150 free spins | 40x | G13 |
If we talk surface value, the welcome bonus looks tempting, even better than many new-player offers you’ll find, totalling up to A$6,000 and 400 free spins on the first four deposits. I know a few casinos with way bigger offers from up to A$11,000 on Neospin to up to A$20,000 on Lucky Ones, but those are some of the biggest out there.
The key terms associated with all bonuses are actually okay: 40x wagering, a A$30 minimum deposit, and 14-day validity. The free spins are awarded on 15 Dragon Pearls: Hold and Win by Booongo, or BGaming’s Elvis Frog in Vegas, but you can win only up to A$300, which isn’t very much.
However, if we talk about real bonus value, my biggest concerns here are a few of the restrictions, one of which excludes all crypto depositors from claiming a bonus. Yep, you can’t get a welcome bonus if you deposit with crypto. And you also can’t get a bonus if the total bonuses you’ve claimed are more than 50% of the sum of all your deposits.
The bonus looked really good at first, but with terms like these, I would be too generous to call it average.
With up to 100 free spins, this one was nothing too special to begin with. Here’s what you get based on your deposit:
- 25 spins if you deposit A$30 to A$59 (A$0.10 per spin)
- 50 spins if you deposit A$60 to A$89 (A$0.10 per spin)
- 100 spins on deposits of A$90 or more (A$0.10 per spin)
The wager per spin is just too low to give any real value, and I really thought casual players might actually get a good deal here, but they don’t. As if those two restrictions in the welcome bonus – excluding crypto players and users with a bonus rate over 50% – weren’t enough, you get another limitation where you won’t be able to get this bonus if your withdrawal-to-deposit ratio is more than 70%.
If you claim bonuses in order, the Wednesday offer is next in line, but don’t expect much. It’s a standard matched deposit bonus, matching 50% up to A$750 with 50 free spins – worth A$0.10 per spin – on Mighty Symbols: Jokers. If not available, you can use the spins on Gold Rush with Johnny Cash.
You can only get the spins on deposits from A$30 to $74, or the full package if you deposit A$75 or more.
As for the terms, it’s more or less the same as the previous bonus, except that the wagering requirements are reduced to 35x. A small improvement from the 40x for the Monday boost when you think about those other things that probably make you ineligible if you claim bonuses on most of your deposits or if you withdraw a lot more than you deposit. Oh, and apparently, if you have a ‘significant’ balance (whatever that is), you also won’t qualify.
This bonus further promotes great pokies from major studios, with up to 99 free spins on BGaming’s Gold Rush with Johnny Cash and Voltent’s Mighty Wild: Jaguar. Pity the wager stays at A$0.10, because even with the solid paytables and features these games provide, it’s almost impossible to squeeze out the maximum A$750.
You’ve also got smaller bonus options: you can grab 59 spins with a deposit of A$60 or more, or 79 spins if you deposit A$75 or more. Still, that slightly lower 30x rollover just isn’t enough to make up for all the strict conditions in the fine print.
Note from Mike Waters: These bonuses are super strict, and it’s almost impossible not to disqualify yourself from at least some of them. If you play long term, my advice is more deposits (even small ones), fewer bonuses, and try not to withdraw more often than you deposit. And be careful not to have a ‘significant balance’ or a deposit in cryptocurrency… this is getting out of hand.
At this point, I won’t even discuss the bonus terms, so let’s just skip to what’s actually good about the Sunday reload, if anything.
Want my honest impressions? I wasn’t impressed; it matches just 75% on no more than A$375, and places a higher minimum deposit of A$55. I mean, size-wise, low-rollers may find some value here, since the wagering requirements are slightly below average (35x), but it’s not too big a bonus in any case.
A A$30 deposit will get you in on a weekly lottery draw with 10 to up to 500 free spins. The lottery runs every week from Monday to Saturday, and winners are picked within 48 hours after the draw. The ticket is automatically added to your deposit, but you can toggle the ‘decline’ button if you don’t want to participate.
Note, if you do win free spins, any winnings from them are subject to 35x wagering, plus some of the usual restrictions remain.
The tournament prizes are pretty generous, even on the smallest event, the ‘Lucky Leprechaun Clash’, with A$65 to A$1,500 awarded to the top 25 players. At the time of writing, the biggest prize pool (A$630,000) was in the Lucky Book tournament, with A$90 to A$4,500 shared among the top 150 players across all stages of the tournament.
The best part about the tournaments is that they bring together some of the best pokies from top providers like IGT, Playson, and BGaming, in one place. Just don’t get too excited if you win a prize in ‘Lucky Leprechaun Clash’ – all cash rewards here carry 10x wagering.
I played on Goodman over several days and noticed that new tournaments can randomly pop up. One like that was the holiday-themed Patrick’s Fairytale, with cash prizes from A$90 to A$4,500 given to the top 200 performers.
Together with the lotteries, the Loyalty program saves the day, kind of. You earn one comp point (Cpoint) for every A$15 you wager, and you need at least 150 Cpoints to unlock the first of ten basic loyalty ranks.
There are also three ‘Secret’ levels, but you need between 750,000 and 1.5 million Cpoints. You don’t even need to make any calculations to know that only hard-spending high-rollers can reach those levels.
I expected the loyalty rewards to be treated as bonuses, but not with 25x wagering on the free spins – that’s definitely too much for a loyalty prize. All other rewards are subject to 3x wagering, which is a lot better.
And don’t get too preoccupied about becoming a VIP in the beginning – you need a special invitation for that, and in my experience, invites don’t come easy, or cheap, for that matter.
Goodman Casino Real Money Games
I was about halfway through my review, and I started to worry about Goodman Casino because it had shown no real qualities. Things started to look up when I dug around the game lobbies.
It says there are over 12,000 games, which looked impressive, but you know what they say: trust but verify. I did the rounds, provider by provider, and it turns out there are just over 5,600 games, with nearly 90% of them pokies, so it’s a bit one-sided. The 50 or so live dealer games should be plenty if live gambling is not your first choice.
Plus, with the jackpots, instant games, and RNG tables, this lobby feels like the complete mix, but it’s clear that all the buzz is around the pokie machines. And with top games from the likes of TrueLab, Betsoft, BGaming, and Playson, Goodman Casino boasts a pretty great lineup.
| Goodman Casino Lobby Overview | |
|---|---|
| Total Games | 5,000+ |
| Available Pokies | 4,500+ |
| Available Live Dealers | 50+ |
| Other Game Types | Instant games, Megaways, Bonus Buy, Jackpots, Hold and Win, High Risk games, ‘Lucky Clover’ pokies, game shows, bingo, Keno, lotteries, scratch cards. |
| Software Providers | Playson, Fugaso, Belatra, BGaming, Betsoft, Mancala Gaming, Yggdrasil, TrueLab, etc. |
The pokies are a mixed collection, divided into several subgroups such as Megaways, Hold and Win, New releases, and Bonus Buy. There’s even a section for ‘high-risk’ games, meaning games with high volatility. Those are actually some of the most interesting ones because they may pay less often, but, by design, trigger larger base-game payouts and include innovative features.
Don’t take my word for it, try Battle Rage by TrueLab, Gold of Minos by BGaming, or Energy Coins: Hold and Win, and I have a good feeling you won’t regret it. The last one (Energy Coins) is a sort of re-invention of the popular Lightning Link pokies, so if you’re into those sorts of games, we have a whole list of the best alternatives.
To get to the popular games quickly, just open the Hot section, and you’ll see what Goodman Casino’s pokie fans are mostly into. I guess they must have good taste, because the Hot games feature some of the best releases from BGaming, Playson, TrueLab, IGT, and 1spin4win. Here are a few examples:
- Buffalo Trail (GameBeat)
- Elvis Frog Trueways (BGaming)
- Wolf Treasure (IGT)
- Big Wild Buffalo 2 (Belatra)
- Lion Gems: Hold and Win (Playson)
My biggest and only complaint about the pokies is that I didn’t see any games from Pragmatic Play. Pragmatic has long been one of the leading pokie providers, and Goodman Casino would do itself a great service by adding it to the list.
Unlike many casinos that just throw around the RNG tables with the other games, on Goodman Casino, you have them all in one place. The ‘table games’ section may be at the far corner of the lobby, but it’s worth a visit, providing over 120 options for blackjack, roulette, video poker, baccarat, and a few alternative games like Sic Bo and Deluxe Dice.
All the player-favourites are there: single or multihand blackjack, classic French and American roulette, Caribbean and Oasis Poker, classic and VIP baccarat, Jacks or Better, and Bonus Deuces Wild video poker. There’s even RNG Texas Hold’em, but you must use the search bar to find it.
I said earlier that the live casino is small, but I’ve seen smaller, and with over 50, it provides the complete set for a live casino experience: roulette, blackjack, and baccarat.
I noticed there were very few of the classic versions, and the collection is mostly popular variants like Grand Bonus Baccarat, VIP European Roulette, or Oasis Blackjack, with a few classics here and there.
Overall, the live casino is good, but I’d like to see more classic blackjack and baccarat options. The game shows were a bit limited, but I don’t want to whinge too much about it since they aren’t typically that popular with Aussies.
I quickly gave up counting the jackpots because there are heaps upon heaps of games. Rough estimate, there’s easily over 1,000, and that’s good and bad. It’s bad because despite all those games, there are no progressive jackpots in sight. That’s no deal-breaker, but it definitely won’t earn Goodman Casino any points.
The good thing is that jackpot pokies like Fire Temple: Hold and Win, Buffalo Power Megaways, or Lightning Clovers Hit the Bonus deliver some seriously action-packed gameplay on their own.
Apart from jackpots – worth tens to hundreds of thousands in AUD – they come with free spins, re-spins, special symbols, bonus rounds, or expanding reels. There’s just one more issue with the jackpot games: all of them are restricted for bonus play.
Most instant games feel like cheap bubble gum: they lose their flavour fast, especially if you’re on a bad streak. Some of them can be catchy and even deliver generous payouts and RTPs, but unlike the best pokies or live games, the gameplay becomes a little repetitive after a while.
At least you won’t lack for choice, and if you get bored with one, something different is always at hand. Here’s a shortlist of games, each different from the next:
- Chicken Route
- Heads and Tails
- Plinko 1,000
- Aviator
- Minesweeper XY
- Gold Rush Shooter
- Rocket Dice
I would’ve liked the lobby even more if it featured Pragmatic Play, but other studios – including BGaming, Betsoft Gaming, Fugaso, Novomatic, Evoplay, IGT, and Yggdrasil – provide more than enough quality games.
Plus, Goodman gives a platform to a few up-and-coming studios like Mancala, 1spin4win, and Volt Entertainment (VoltEnt) that are yet to become household names, but have actually designed some really interesting original game concepts, especially for pokies.

Payment Methods at Goodman Casino
The crypto selection is great, but the regular currency (FIAT) options are not so much. The ‘Payments’ page shows options like Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, and Apple Pay, but when I actually opened the cashier, only Neosurf and MiFinity were available for FIAT.
Neosurf has a lower deposit limit of A$20, compared to MiFinity’s A$30 minimum, but it’s a deposit-only prepaid voucher. MiFinity is a two-way street and definitely the better of the two for handling regular money transfers to and from the casino. Both have a maximum deposit limit of A$6,000 per deposit per day.
Then you have the familiar blockchain networks like BNB Chain, Bitcoin (Cash), Ethereum, Dogecoin, Litecoin, and a few more. The Casino doesn’t specify maximum caps on cryptocurrencies, and the minimum deposit varies by currency, ranging from about 0.0001 BTC to 5 USDT.
Overview of Payment Limits & Times
| Payment Method | Min. Deposit | Min. Withdrawal | Payout Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Neosurf | A$20 | – | – |
| MiFinity | A$30 | A$30 | 0-24 hours |
| PayAnyBank (via MiFinity) | – | A$300 | 0-24 hours |
| Bank transfer | – | A$300 | 3-5 business days |
| Bitcoin | 0.0001 BTC | A$30 | Instant |
| Bitcoin Cash | 0.001 BCH | A$30 | Instant |
| Litecoin | 0.01 LTC | A$30 | Instant |
| Ethereum | 0.002 ETH | A$30 | Instant |
| Dogecoin | 1 DOGE | A$30 | Instant |
| Binance Coin | 0.01 BNB | A$30 | Instant |
| TRON | 10 TRX | A$30 | Instant |
| Ripple | 0.001 XRP | A$30 | Instant |
| USDT | 5 USDT | A$30 | Instant |
PayAnyBank, bank transfers, and Mifinity – those are your choices for withdrawing regular AUD currency, so you’re a bit short-handed here. MiFinity saves the day because it’s actually one of the most practical ways to manage money at online casinos.n
With a A$30 minimum withdrawal, MiFinity is better than PayAnyBank and bank transfers, which have a minimum withdrawal limit of A$300. For all three, the maximum withdrawal per day (per transaction) is A$6,000. The withdrawal range for all cryptocurrencies is A$30 (minimum) and A$6,000 maximum.
Keep in mind that the daily withdrawal limit in the general terms and conditions is A$7,500, even though you can take out a maximum of A$6,000 per transaction, as shown at the cashier. According to the general withdrawal policy, the weekly caps are A$15,000 and A$45,000 monthly, which is not all that bad.
Getting a VIP status probably won’t increase the limits, but it will make you eligible for priority withdrawal processing, so you’ll get your money faster.
Mobile Play at Goodman Casino
You won’t find a mobile app or software to download, so I’ll save you the time looking for things like that. But that’s hardly news with modern online casinos in Australia, which tend to stick to only the basic browser experience.
The only good thing about the web-based mobile casino is that it’s easily accessible on any operating system, and most smartphone models should do a pretty good job. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad place to take your games on the go, just nothing out of the ordinary.
Is Goodman Casino Legit for Australian Players?
A sigh of relief was that the casino is completely legit, because if it had no licence, there was no saving it. Not that the licence makes up for the bad stuff, but at least you know you’re in the clear about playing on a secure, user-oriented platform where dishonest behaviour and malpractice won’t fly.
The casino is managed by Novatrix SRL, a company based in Costa Rica and licensed by the Tobique Gaming Commission (TGC), a Canadian regulator affiliated with the Tobique First Nation.
This may not be the most renowned regulator out there, but it’s certainly better than operating without a license. I read some about the TGC, and it appears to comply with all standard codes of practice and enforces strict rules for online gambling conduct.
The gambling permit is valid through 2026 and into 2027, so there are no doubts about its legitimacy.

Responsible gambling is one of the few things the casino does right, and I have zero complaints here. Regular players can set limits on their own by opening the profile menu, selecting ‘My Account, and ‘Responsible Gambling.’ You will see options for customising:
- Deposit limits
- Wager limits
- Loss limits
- Cooling off
- Session limits
There are also some of the standard resources for problem players, including self-exclusion, for which you need to contact support, and external organisations that provide professional guidance, such as GamCare, Gambling Therapy, and Gamblers Anonymous.
How to Go Through KYC
Verification is a do-it-yourself process, and you can complete it at any time after you register. I suggest doing it immediately so you won’t leave the casino second-guessing about your status. Here are the steps:
Create a Goodman Casino account and log in.
Open your profile menu and select ‘Documents.’
Upload the necessary documents to verify your age and identity, home address, and payment method (tap ‘more info’ for information on documents).
You also need to verify your phone number separately.
Just don’t be surprised if the casino makes random checks to verify your personal and account details – it’s a common practice among all licensed casinos.
Customer Support
If you’re looking for that live chat bubble on the screen, don’t bother; there is no live support here. This really put me off because, no matter how well I know a casino, I always reach for live chat for a quick answer.
With Goodman Casino, there’s no such thing as a quick answer unless you want to find it yourself by digging into the general T&Cs or FAQs, which isn’t exactly quick. The FAQs are okay and cover about 20 questions, many of which answer the most common user queries.
When I wanted to get an answer directly from the casino, I only got this sort of email contact form, where you provide your email and leave your message, but then you have to confirm if your request is still valid via email, and only then will you get a reply. That’s a lot of hassle for something that can be done in a few seconds via live chat.

Loyalty Coins on real money wagers
Cash tournaments every week
Solid withdrawal limits
Very strict bonus conditions
No live chat
Sometimes I feel unfairly harsh toward a casino that I know can do better, and Goodman (can’t get over the name) is one of those casinos. Think about it, it went through the trouble of passing for a licence, only to fall short on in-house experience. Still, I stand by everything I said.
Management needs to get a lot of things in proper working order if they want a better rating – starting with those low-standard bonus restrictions, all the way to the customer support desk.

If by some miracle you find the bonus terms agreeable, go for it, but this is certainly not a good spot for bonuses, though it can be for pokies, at least if you don’t want bonuses to go with your pokies.
You get access to play high RTP games from great studios, including over 1,000 jackpot pokies, but that’s a small consolation for all the other flaws. Most of these issues are not too serious (except for those bonus terms) and can be fixed quickly, but the question is, why impose them in the first place?
